We are a 1st generation dairy farm that has a passion for getting people to the farm and educating them about where their food comes from!
B.KURT DAIRY WAS ESTABLISHED IN SEPTEMBER OF 2014.
When Bryanna was 16 years old, she started buying cows in preparation for someday having her own farm. The animals were housed at her grandparents’ farm for five years before the opportunity to rent a barn became available. B. Kurt Dairy was established in September 2014 when the cows were moved to the rented barn near Verona, Wisconsin. In 2016, Bryanna and Dylan purchased a 53-acre farm near Barneveld, Wisconsin. Since then, the farm has grown to include 103 acres, 65 cows and five children.

In addition to providing their community with their own brand of B. Kurt Dairy cheese, the Handels are passionate about helping other farmers promote their products as well. They hosted their first farmer’s market in 2021 right at their home farm near Barneveld, Wisconsin. The event included 10 area vendors with local products, yard games and a petting zoo. After its initial success, the Handels have decided to make this an annual event on the last Sunday of every July. Join them this year on Sunday July 28, 2024 from 11 A.M. until 2 P.M.

We would like to help you educate your kids on where their food comes from. At farm camp they can learn first-hand the work and joy that goes into caring for the animals on our dairy farm while they also learn how to be safe on a farm. Crafts and snacks will top off this experience.
The cost is $150.00. If the parent choses to stay we will offer a 10% discount.
Class will run from 9 A.M.-1 P.M. Tuesday August 6th, 2024- Wednesday August 7th, 2024
Farm School will be great for children 4-10 years old.
